Over the last two weeks I have released the tutorial for the Princess castle and also the amigurumi Princess doll pattern. This week I am sharing the pattern for the amigurumi Knight doll. The finished knight measures around 13cm tall and like the princess, fits perfectly into the Princess Castle. He is made using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook and is constructed from the bottom up and also uses join as you go arms. The Knights sword, shield and helmet are all added after the doll is finished.
Like the Princess doll, the Knight also works as a great scrap busting project, as he doesn’t use very much yarn in any colour, less than 20-30g depending on whether you make her using DK yarn or not. He also has 5mm safety eyes and works up very quickly. Like the Princess, the Knight was designed and made within 1 evening, so a quick crocheter could easily make her within a couple of hours. He would probably work up great in a thicker yarn and larger hook to make a larger Knight doll for cuddling rather than for roll play as he was designed.
Next week, I will be releasing the final patterns for the Princess Castle Role Play set, the Dragon which will allow for some great role play for any children along with the Princess Castle. Get the FREE pattern for the Amigurumi Knight doll below.
See you next week,
