Crochet Lemon Pattern & Crochet Lime Pattern - Crochet Tropical Fruits Series

 Crochet Tropical Fruit

Last week I introduced you to my new Tropical Fruits Series starting with Claire Coconut & Sarah Strawberry.   This week we have a classic Tropical Fruits combination Lemon & Lime.   So let me introduce to you Lawrence the Lemon & Lee the Lime.  Both are made from Paintbox Simply Aran yarn in yellow and green and use 10mm saftey eyes and a small amount of stuffing.  Neither of them use a whole ball of yarn so the rest will be perfect for creating all the crochet Tropical Fruits if you choose to.

Crochet Lemon - Lawrence

Lawrence the Crochet Lemon is made in the round in one go, so therefore only the 1 piece of sewing required - the final end.   Except of course for the sewing on of the mouth in any shape or size you like.   Lawrence doesn't really do anything fancy like the coconut, but not Tropical Fruit collection would be complete without a Lemon, they are so useful for all kinds of things.

As he is so simple to make Lawrence shouldn't take you more than an hour.  One of the things I like about these Tropical fruits, quick and easy projects to brighten up the home and bring a touch of summer to you.   Or if you have any, perfect for the kids to play with too.

You can find the written pattern below & video tutorial for Lawrence the Lemon here.

Crochet Lime - Lee

Alongside Lawrence is the smaller Tropical Fruit pattern released this week, Lee the crochet Lime and he shouldn't take you more than about 30 mins to complete.   He is made in one continuous piece like Lawrence with minimal stuffing and 10mm safety eyes if you have them, or you can sew them on like I did if you don't.   Lee the Lime is another small Tropical Fruit who perfectly fits inside of Claire the Coconut if you wanted a coconut & lime drink.

You can find the written pattern below & video tutorial for Lee the crochet Lime.
